Had to say it…

I'm sleepy; very sleepy. But it's going to be a long night. This is how it starts. With you guys. I've had a lot of comments about my blog. So thank you for reading. I hope it's been a blessing and God uses it to make his glory brighter; his name louder; his praise higher! I'm really not in the mood to blog, but I had inspiration for a blog post a few days ago, yesterday I think, and I just had to say it. This post was purely inspired by an Indian friend, very outspoken and nice; those of you who know her, definitely guessed right on who she was: Sanjana! J

Ayt, I was walking silently with San, listening to my imaginary iPod and playing on my imaginary drums (the music was good) when she said, "By the way, I read your blog." First impression was wow, great! Then I began to wonder what she got from it. How did it make a difference to her life? What made it a good blog to the average, random reader who may not even know God; because to San, all the blog said was "I really like this Jesus and God guys." Yes!! I love him too much!! But the point of my writing for others to read is so they also fall in love with this Jesus and God guys. So imma tell you the story of My Jesus and God guys so that you fall in love with him as well. It's one I've said before, but I'll say again because it's the story that started my love life.

So God (some people like to call him Jehovah) is the guy that made everything. I mean he thought it up, and then because he's so powerful, he just spoke and the stuff were created. That's the first thing that makes him such a gye3 God; he was able to create this complex existence with just words. Another interesting thing: though God is one, He's 3 people as well. Father, Son and Spirit; but that's just a digression from my story. So after He created everything, He created human, just two of them: Adam and Eve. They were to be companions and they were also just supposed to acknowledge that God was so gye3 because of all the gye3 things he had done. Then they could have lived happily ever after in a beautiful Garden with gye3 food and rivers and trees called Eden. But since were not eaten the best looking food ever, you must have guessed something went wrong with that plan.

So here's what happened: Adam and Eve did not do what God had told them to do. It was a very simple command pertaining to eating some special fruit. The devil (the one who makes most of the bad stuff in this story happen) told Eve to eat it and Eve in turn told Adam to eat it. So there began the eternal struggle. God cursed humankind with all the bad stuff like work, labor in pregnancy, separation from him (this one was quite grave, but he had to do it, he can't stand people who do not do what he says to do) and banishment from Eden. We were like we were dead to hm jus because of our wrong. Since then, man looked for ways to get back to God. I mean, it was confortable and great being with the one who made you so Adam and all his kids, and kid's kids wanted to do that. God didn't leave them like that, he told them how they could get to him. It always involved blood though. Someone or something had to die in order to pay for the wrong. That was the rule God had. So they killed a whole lot of fat, and beautiful animals.

Another of God's amazingness is the way he knows everything, even stuff that hasn't happened yet. So all along, he had a plan; a plan to let everyone be reconciled to him. Now don't get it wrong, God didn't create us so we could go wrong so he could execute his plans. Though he knew that was how it was gonna happen, he still gave us the choice. But don't worry too much about that stuff. Most things about God are too complex for logic to try and explain. So the master plan was in place, right from the time of creation. The world was being prepared for the execution of the plan. And its time came, many years after Adam.

Now remember that I said God was three in one: the Son part of him was the plan. Since no human being had clean enough blood to pay for our sins (Because we all had Adam's blood), God had to use his own. So he sent the son; the Jesus guy! So Jesus was born, not in a natural way, but the Spirit of God, his third part, caused Jesus to be born in a supernaturally conceiving virgin, Mary. So Jesus came to earth, did a lot to show man how to live, but eventually died a brutal and very painful death, even when he had done no wrong. Now you wonder why he did it, why he bothered, why he didn't just kill all of us and start again. Well it's because he fell in love with us (lucky us J!). So God chose to watch his own son bleed and be hanged on a cross just so we could be close to him again. But the amazing thing about Jesus dying is that, because he's so strong, when he died, went to the dead people's place to overcome the one who held the keys to the cell holding those dead because of their separation from God. He conquered death and allowed us to be reconciled to God! And to seal the deal, 3 days later, he rose up from this dead place!!!

So now we serve an Awesome, Mighty Living God!! It's just amazing. He can hear us when we talk, when we even think thoughts he hears, and he sometimes talks back to us, shows us things. He's left this great book for us called the bible with so much stuff that's amazing. It's awesome to serve my Jesus. That's why I keep this blog; because I love to do stuff for my God. And I love him so much. There's one last bit to the whole situation. It comes to times where, even though Jesus has paid the price for our wrong stuff, we do them again. It's sad to see how much Jesus suffered for us and how badly we did disregard this treatment to do wrong again. It's also sad to see that Jesus died for everyone, but many have gone in search of other truths and fail to believe his name. That's why am writing this post. I want you to know that you've been chosen; you've been called to be God, God's friend. He doesn't want you to serve anyone else, to love anything else more than him. He wants you to fall in love with him because he killed his son for you!

There's only one thing left for this post to do. I've told you the story of true royalty; the story of my King's love for you. All that's left to do is to is to ask you to accept this love. God wants you to believe in him and follow him. If you want to start this journey with him, I'll ask you to just tell him about it. He's willing to listen. Tell him you believe in him, that you want to follow and serve him. You want to be his child and all the wonderful benefits that come along with it. Tell him about the wrong things you've done and ask him to use Jesus's blood to pay for their price. And he will do that. Ask him to help you live your life for him. Then you would have just started this wonderful journey with a lovely God.

Talk to Jesus; Read your bible; find a church that believes that Jesus is; and you will be fine. God will guide you through a lovely journey with him.
