story of true royalty...

Many of you have probably heard this stuff before. Sum of you haven't. But I'm addressing those who need to listen to it this time around, and do what the message says. So If I invited you to read this, and you ain't interested, I plead with you that you read to the end, even if its the last thing you decide to do for me... that's how important this is.

So here's a simple truth that you may find hard to believe, The universe as we see it was created by a being so wonderful that man cannot always understand his biology, or existence for that matter. So there's always going to be loopholes that cannot be filled, questions we cannot answer. There's only very little proof that this staement is true, unless you look hard, but here's what I got. That's waht it says in a book older than anyone on earth can prove, a book that has never told a lie. Plus, you really cant look at the world and say that everything was a freak accident. I don't know much about the big bang theory, but this much I know, they will always have one question to answer: "What banged?" Any answer to that question I have read proves that there had to have been something before it could "Bang!"
I have a very intellectual audience today, ( I hope), so I'm not going to spend time proving truths; that may never be humanly possible.So I'll head straight to what I wanted to say.I wanna tell you a story.A story I've known all my life and a story that has worked wonders for me.

After mankind came to earth (let's forget about how that happened and head on to what came next), a lot of things happened. We were supposed to live our lives good and right, because that's how the creator wished it. However, due to an act of disobedience, we had wrong placed in the world. We all became inheritors of this sin. It tipped the scales greatly, causing an imbalance that has raged humankind for millenniums!! It's an interesting story, you can read it.

So here's what had happened, we had thrown away a good thing. Given up the chance to live with a mighty King and creator, all because we chose not to listen to his simple command. And since then a battle has raged between his good, and the evil of the serpent to try and win us back! But God, will never try and win us by force, so it has always been our choice to return to the wonderful gifts that he has for us when we are with him.

OK, back to the story: So on and on life went, with humankind trying its best to return to God. There ways to do it, but it was hard, trust me, you had to be of a certain race, wear certain clothes, eat certain food... There's even a whole 27 chapters of the Bible (and much more) that gave laws that made you eligible to be reunited with God. So God didn't like it much. But all along, he had a plan. A plan he had had since the beginning of time. A plan that was recorded in history, thousands of years before it ever became feasible or took effect. His ultimate plan for our salvation, our great reunion. A reunion that will last forever with eternal joy for everyone, especially you. Here's the plan:

THE ULTIMATE PLAN!!

It looked simple. He would send his son, no, his only son, whom he dearly loved, who had done no wrong, to die for us. And all that because He Loves Us. Many never understand this. Well, they do understand, they just don't get the severity of it, even I didn't know how great this was until recently.

You may have to read more of the story to appreciate it better. It says that God, loves us, every single person in the world, so much so that, he was prepared to send down his only son whom he loved so much. He was prepared to allow him to be KILLED, MURDERED, for us. He was subjected to the worst form of human punishment possible, not just death, but death on a cross. He had nails piercing his hands; his pure, undefiled blood, gushing from his side, a crown of thorns ripping the skin off of his head. He endured  much in the physical, but that was nothing.

Like that wasn't bad enough, a blameless man had to carry the guilt you had. For every time that you stole, disobeyed, lied, swore, cursed, fornicated, despised him, were in any way not what he wanted you to be, you placed a heavier burden on him. That's how much sin he had to carry, for you!! but that wasn't the worst part!!

He endured suffering, while his father looked down from heaven, pleased at what he had to do to him....for you

Now if that isn't Love, I really don't know what is. I'm very glad that you have read up to this point. The first time I had to tell anyone the full story, I was shocked at how "silly" it sounded. It sounded so absurd, even to me, very absurd!! And I didn't know how I expected her [ Emily ;-) ] to believe any of what I was saying. Those of you hearing this for the first time, probably think its a very weird story as well, but it just shows that it takes more than a human effort to believe it. It takes a touch from God, to even start to consider its possibility. So there must be a lot of divine intervention taking place for that many Christians to believe this story.But all we have to do is make ourselves available to be taught, and we'll be shocked at what God has in store for us.

Now back to the best part of my story (yes, I know its long, but please read, this is important!! :)

So Jesus had paid the price for us. But the Serpent (remember him?), he thought he had won the battle. His greatest competitor was down and he was one step closer to becoming just like God, King of the Universe. But it would all have been very worthless if God had left his son dead, so here's what he did, after three days of being buried, Jesus was resurrected from the dead. He was alive again!! and he appeared to many people. He showed many men himself and they felt the scars in his hands, saw the piercings in his side. They encountered the risen Jesus, just before he went back into heaven to his father.

So that's as much as I can say of the story so that I don't bore you. So then what, do I expect you all to become "super religious Christians" and go to church and pray and blah, blah, blah... well.. yes. Nah, just kidding, but I do pray you to grow into people who love the Lord that much eventually. But that's much later. Right now, if you believe a word of what I just said, and you feel like you've had enough of wondering what life is about, then the rest of this is for you. If you think you need a place to go to... I don't really know how to describe it, but I know that God places a longing in anyone who hears his words and needs to follow; so here's to that person:

I said we were separated form God when we inherited the sins of generations past and added our own. That's why life doesn't make much sense anymore. We need to be reconciled to God, and through that wonderful sacrifice of Jesus, we can. God said in his word that he is willing to forgive us. All we gotta do is admit our wrong and tell him to forgive us. Tell him you're sorry, tell him you wanna live your life right, ask him to come and help you live straight. This is Jesus calling to you. Telling you that its enough with the living like there's nothing to life for. Enough of living like you are an accident and that how you live doesn't matter. It's Jesus saying: "I am The Way,The Truth, The light!" Make the decision now, to follow Jesus! Trust me, after you do that, you would have just entered the best days of your life, ever!!

Here's what to do next. Try and find out more bout the wonderful world you just entered. Matthew is a good place to start (You could skip the genealogy part and head to the birth story). It Gives you the story of Salvation: Read it! Find a bible-believing church and ask someone about Jesus. Find out all you can. And You'll be infor the adventure of a lifetime!! The adventure that ends with an eternal reward!
